Yes. We use the leading craftsmen in the industry to custom install every product we offer.

Each product comes in a wide variety of colors, and Dayton Home Improvement can help you find almost any shade to match your style.

Siding, Soffit, Trim, Shutters

What kind of vinyl siding, soffit do you use?

We carry the top brand name siding in the industry: Alcoa, Mastic, Napco, Crane, Norandex and Alside.

Can you install anything other than horizontal siding?

Yes. We can install vertical siding, board & batten, shingles, and hand split shake style in 5 different profiles and a wide range of colors.

How much insulation can I get with my siding?

We install standard 1/4″ underlayment or Styrofoam-backed siding.

Can I get additional ventilation through my soffit?

Yes. We can add additional soffit ventilation when installing.

What kind of shutters do you provide?

We carry 2 styles of shutters – Mastic raised panel and louvered style shutters in a variety of colors.

Entry Doors

What type of entry doors do you provide?

We provide steel, fiberglass, wood entry doors, patio doors, French doors and storm doors.

What brand of doors do you carry?

We have access to a variety of manufacturers, but we mostly deal in ProVia and Polaris doors.

Can I get doors in custom sizes?

Yes. Custom sizes are available in the majority of products we carry.

What colors are available in your doors?

The colors vary depending on the manufacturer. We are typically able to find a solution that fits the tastes of our customers.

Windows

What brand of windows do you provide?

We provide Polaris or Thermal Industries vinyl windows, Marvin integrity fiberglass windows and Marvin or Loewen wood/aluminum clad windows.

What styles are available?

We can provide double hung, sliders, casements, picture and geometrical shape windows, as well as bays, bows and garden windows.

What is the R Value of your windows?

This varies by manufacturer and style of window. Contact us for more details.

What colors are available?

We are able to supply over 25 different colors. Colors vary by manufacturer.

Roofs

What brand of roofing materials do you use?

We provide all types of asphalt shingle roofing, including 3-tab and dimensional using CertainTeed, Owens Corning, GAF and Tamko.

How can we get better ventilation in our home?

We can install ridge vents, additional static box vents, power vents and turbines.

How can I minimize roof leaks in the winter due to ice dams?

We recommend and are able to install ice and water shields at all eaves/soffit and overhang areas and valleys, around chimneys and in any other areas where ice typically accumulates.

How many layers of shingles can I have on my house?

Per building code, only two layers are permitted.

What shingle colors are available?

We have over 20 colors to choose from. Please contact us for specifics.

Gutter and Leaf Relief™

Do your gutters have seams?

We only install continuous gutters using supreme screw-in hidden hangers with mitered corners. As a result, there are no nails or gutter spikes that could come loose.

Does your company carry leaf guard protection?

Yes. We install two different products – Gutter Guard Leaf Screen and Alcoa Leaf Relief™.

Patio Covers and Carports

What types of patio covers/carports do you install?

We install attached patio covers and carports as well as free standing carports with both insulated and non-insulated systems, commercial size gutters & downspouts with extruded posts and beams.

My patio cover can come in what colors?

We have 5 different colors to choose from – white, ivory, sandstone, adobe and bronze.

Can I put a patio cover on a deck?

Yes. So long as your deck has been installed to code.

Enclosures

What type of enclosures do you install?

We install screen, EZ breeze vinyl 4-track windows and glass (3-season and 4-season) using slider and double hung style windows on all patio doors.

Do I need to have footers to enclose my patio?

Yes. In most cases, footers are required.

What features are available?

We can supply fan beams and lighting/electrical outlets.

What kind of doors can I use on an enclosure?

We can install in-swing or out-swing entry doors, screen doors, storm doors or sliding patio doors depending on your application.
